Teaching Behavior Management
PEACE
It’s through the development of caring relationships that we are able to assist children in becoming self-managed individuals. By recognizing that we are constantly in the process of developing the culture of our classroom or organization, we have taken the first step toward creating an environment of peace. We must take the time necessary to develop individual relationships with each child, especially those who tend to become disruptive. Because we establish a positive relationship during good times, we are able to manage their disruptive behaviors, if they should occur, within the natural context of our environment.
